Check your spot before your bees arrive.
Type an address or tap a map. You'll see what blooms within flight range of that spot and when, the gaps in the season, the nearest mapped water, a few things worth checking, and how the spot ranks against random sites in your state and across the country.
What it looks at
- Crops and wild vegetation around the spot, from USDA's 2025 crop map and LANDFIRE's vegetation map.
- How attractive each crop is to honey bees for pollen and nectar, from USDA's published ratings, and when it usually blooms where you are.
- Nearby water, FEMA flood maps, development, and bee crops that are often sprayed.
What it can't see
It's an estimate from maps, not a promise. It can't see your neighbors' gardens, how thick the brush is under the trees, other beekeepers' hives, or this year's weather. Use it as a starting point alongside what you see on the ground.
We don't keep the addresses you type or your exact location. See our privacy policy. The tool lists every data source it uses, with dates, on its sources page.
